I need help with writing a blues song for school help me please I'm desperate?

i need a blues song for a class for the 7th grade and it needs to be 12 measures help me please!!!!!! Lyrics or actual chords, notes, etc?

If it's chords, you'll want to go with what's called 12-bar-blues. There are 12 measures in a traditional blues hook, and they use the I, IV, and V chords of a key. For instance, C, F, and G. The format is: I, I, I, I, IV, IV, I, I, V, IV, I, turnaround. The turnaround is a short lick or musical phrase that either takes the song into the next verse or ends it, depending on what you're going for.

Use a shuffle rhythm and play the standard 12-Bar Blues. Here is a progression for you with the appropriate chords. The actual turnaround isn't after the 12 bars, the turnaround is the last four bars of the 12-bar blues progression and is often changed. The 7th chords with a shuffled rhythm will provide you a more traditional blues sound.
